Abdalla Al Omari

Abdalla Al Omari is a Syrian born, Belgium based painter. Omari’s oil on canvas compositions deals with complex psychological states and emotions, particularly the experience of civilians caught in the crossfire of war, while maintaining a profound beauty due to their realistic portrayals and painterly application.

Omari graduated from the University of Damascus while also attending the Adham Ismail Institute for Visual Arts. While in Belgium, he started ‘The Vulnerability Series’, and now his works are present in the collections of Barjeel Art Foundation UAE, Ayyam Gallery UAE, Fenix Immigration Museum Rotterdam, among others worldwide.
